NEWS : Hilton Glasgow launches new restaurant ‘tart & lobster’
At a glittering launch event held this week, Hilton Glasgow officially launched its newest restaurant, ‘tart & lobster’. Guests and visitors to the hotel will be able to reserve tables in ‘tart & lobster’ and enjoy the warmth and passion of Scottish hospitality.

The restaurant launched tonight with a range of personalities from across Scottish life enjoying oysters, lobster, champagne and other samples of the ‘tart & lobster’ menu.
‘tart & lobster’ will blend the finest locally sourced produce to create mouth-watering dishes and show-stopping desserts from an award-winning pastry team for an irresistible dining experience.
The restaurant will pride itself in serving a wide variety of dishes with lobster the star attraction on the menu, served Newburg (with cognac and cream), Thermidor (with white wine and mustard) or Kiev (with garlic and herb butter). The other showpiece element of the menu are the outstanding tart creations with lobster, warm confit duck and fig & brie options on offer.
The menu also has fantastic meat, vegetarian and vegan options including Himalayan salt aged scotch beef, tempered red rooster potatoes and much more.
Diners can start their meal with a delicious cocktail before pairing their food with a wide range of fine wines from around the world before finishing with outstanding hand-crafted desserts from the in-house pastry team. Alternatively, a fine cheese selection specially curated by cheese specialist Tanny Gill in partnership with Clark’s Speciality Foods.
The restaurant has undergone a complete refurbishment giving ‘tart & lobster’ a modern, intimate and Scottish vibe with nautical themed artwork on the walls, clam-shell shaped seats and beautiful tartan fabric.
