Highclere Castle Gin announces two virtual cocktails parties on 4th and 18th December at 9.00 pm.
In March 2020 Highclere Castle closed its doors and Friday “Cocktails at the Castle” was created to engage with gin drinkers across the globe. Lord and Lady Carnarvon welcomed guests to Highclere Castle virtually with thousands of cocktail fans engaging with the live stream on Highclere Castle Gin’s Facebook and Instagram pages. “What started as a fun way to stay in touch with customers, fans and friends, grew bigger than we could have imagined,” said Adam von Gootkin, co-founder and chief executive for the brand. “The virtual cocktail parties drew in a record number of viewers making them the largest virtual cocktail parties in the world”.
The weekly parties ended in July as the castle was starting to reopen for visitors. Due to popular demand and many followers looking for some pre-festive cheer Highclere Castle Gin hope to re-engage with the audiences for the two upcoming virtual events.The parties will feature Christmas cocktails made with Highclere Castle Gin prepared by the castle’s head butler, Luis whilst Lord and Lady Carnarvon discuss their cocktails , and answer questions live from viewers.

Highclere Castle Gin has received 15 international platinum, double and triple gold awards. The brand was developed in partnership with the 8th Earl and Countess of Carnarvon with American spirits entrepreneur, Adam von Gootkin. The estate gin is made from a blend of botanicals grown on the ancient estate, including vibrant oranges from the Victorian Orangery, offering a citrus forward flavour profile.
Highclere Castle Gin is produced at England’s oldest gin distillery, Langley, dating back to the 1800's. This exceptionally smooth London Dry Gin integrates 10 botanicals using Highclere’s famous oats to soften the finish, resulting in a gin which is smooth enough to enjoy straight on the rocks. Highclere Castle Gin is available throughout the UK as well as in Waitrose regional stores and online. Similarly the gin is available in the USA in 40 states and distribution is growing throughout Europe with a Canadian launch scheduled for Spring 2021.
