Edinburgh Gin and Mimis Bakehouse- To celebrate the launch of its new Gooseberry and Elderflower gin, Edinburgh Gin has partnered with one of the Edinburgh’s best-loved bakeries, Mimi’s Bakehouse, to serve up a summertime offering like no other. Until the end of July residents of Glasgow and Edinburgh will be able to order an exclusive Afternoon G&Tea from Mimi’s Bakehouse, which includes a 70cl bottle of the latest addition to Edinburgh Gin’s award-winning flavour range. The “Mimi’s Bakehouse x Edinburgh Gin Afternoon G&Tea” contains six mini traybakes, two mini elderflower cupcakes and two, freshly baked, plain scones, with Rodda's Cornish clotted cream - plus homemade gooseberry jam, giving a zesty kick to the spread*. The tea is complete with a bottle of Edinburgh Gin’s Gooseberry and Elderflower gin. Bottled at 40% ABV, the delightfully tangy expression boasts flavours of tart gooseberries and sweet elderflower, giving it a subtly tangy taste, with a delicate, honeyed finish. It’s perfect paired with a light tonic and garnished with fresh mint or used as a base for cocktails – making it the ultimate summer picnic pour.

Throughout lockdown, staff at the award winning venue turned their attention to home delivery and takeaway. Chef Jimmy and the team launched 'Lychee Oriental at Home', a delivery service where customers could order or collect their favourite dishes from Glasgow's most renowned Chinese restaurant. During this time new dishes were trialled and popular dishes including 'Chilli and Salt Chicken' from the takeaway menu will now be refined and added to the restaurants A La Carte menu.
