Its better known Afternoon sibling is getting a run for its money as award-winning luxury hotel Radisson Blu Edinburgh launches its new Morning Tea experience. Spearheading an Elevenses revival, this new retro Morning Tea takes up residence within the four star Royal Mile hotel and comes with a gourmet update.
Available Monday to Friday from 10-12pm, Morning Tea costs £40 per couple and features a number of culinary favourites including freshly made bacon rolls, croissants, Danish pastries, warm scones, cakes, yoghurt with granola pots and a side of freshly squeezed orange juice. Loose tea from Edinburgh-based Eteakat or artisan coffee is also included.
Morning Tea is the latest food and drink offering at the famed hotel. Last year Radisson Blu Edinburgh picked up an award for Best Hotel Breakfast in Scotland in the prestigious Trivago Awards 2017. Radisson Blu Edinburgh outshone other Scottish Hotels for its breakfast buffet that includes delicious smoothies made to order, traditional Scottish classics like haggis, black pudding and potato scone and popular staples like freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs prepared according to the guests’ preferences. A whole side of fresh, locally sourced salmon is always on the buffet table with the £17.95 breakfast also available to non-residents.
Afternoon tea experiences, lunches and gourmet dinners are also available from executive chef Barath Kumar and his award-winning kitchen team.
