A workshop which has been in the planning for a while and it’s one not to be missed!
This tiny and beautiful wine producing country has the same area under vine as Champagne yet produces every style of wine from delicate whites, full of expression to rich, red wines and ice wine. These exciting wines are becoming hugely popular, attracting the attention of many critics.
Enveloped in a fascinating history, many wineries are combining the traditional indigenous grape varieties with modern wine making techniques to create these fabulously delicate and quite frankly delicious wines. Igor is now a man in strong demand so I’m delighted he’s agreed to join us for this evening. He’ll be taking us on a vinous journey around Croatia, in particular, looking at the wines from Baranja in the north east.
Baranja is a beautiful and unspoilt area of natural park, currently gaining a reputation for both food and wine. Igor also organises gastronomic trips to Croatia in case you’re tempted further! Either way it will be a superb and insightful evening.
After the tasting we’ll enjoy some cheese and charcuterie nibbles. Come on your own or with a friend for a great start to the week.
Tickets cost £22 and are available on Eventbrite
